He has played in 5 games (0 starts) for the Pistons so far this year and he is averaging 6.8 minutes, 3.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. Villanueva has now played in 159 games (27 starts) in his first three years with the Pistons and he is averaging 22.3 minutes, 11.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. Pistons’ GM Joe Dumars is lucky that he didn’t get fired for the signing of Villanueva three years ago.
