Detroit Pistons 101, Denver Nuggets 99

The Pistons got a really nice win last night in Motown over the Nuggets. Charlie Villanueva led the way for the Pistons as he was on fire finishing with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Rodney Stuckey pitched in with another solid effort finishing with 25 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Rookie Jonas Jerebko pitched in with 12 points and 8 rebounds last night. Ben Wallace was a beast on the glass and defensively last night as he finished up with 7 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. The Pistons are now 10-12 on the year.

Jonas Jerebko, a native of Sweden, has been playing very hard for the Detroit Pistons all season.  Jerebko doesn’t just bring hustle though, as he is a very capable player.  Jerebko was a little bit of a question mark coming into this season, as many doubted whether he could handle the NBA style of play.  He has more than handled it and has been one of the best rookies so far this season.  See where he ranks in my list of the Top Rookies in the NBA so far this season.

Detroit Pistons 90, Philadelphia 76ers 86

The Pistons outrebounded the 76ers 45-32 last night and it was a huge key to victory. Rodney Stuckey led the way for the Pistons last night with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Rookie forward Jonas Jerebko also had a solid game with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists. Jason Maxiell pitched in with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 26 minutes last night. The Pistons are now 9-12 on the year.

Detroit Pistons 98, Washington Wizards 94

The Pistons played just good enough to get a win last night at home. Rodney Stuckey led the way for the Pistons last night with 25 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Charlie Villanueva pitched in with 18 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists last night. Will Bynum scored 16 points, grabbed 2 rebounds and he dished out 1 assist despite only shooting 3 of 12 from the floor. The Pistons are now 8-12 on the season.

Detroit Pistons 105, Milwaukee Bucks 99

The Pistons shot 57.4% from the floor last night and they outrebounded the Bucks 46-30 which were both huge factors in the win last night. Rodney Stuckey led the way for the Pistons last night with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Rookie forward Jonas Jerebko also had a decent game last night with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes. Ben Gordon pitched in with 16 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists in 22 minutes off the bench. The Pistons are now 7-12 on the season.
