The Detroit Pistons get a couple of key players back from injury

The Pistons have gotten Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince back from injury and it should inject some energy into the team. Hamilton has played in 4 games (all starts) this season for the Pistons and he is averaging 32.5 minutes, 19.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steal per game. Prince has played in 4 games (all starts) this season for the Pistons and he is averaging 35.8 minutes, 11.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. If the Pistons don’t start playing better soon they might try to move these guys near the trade deadline if they can stay healthy that long.

Toronto Raptors 102, Detroit Pistons 95

The Pistons had issues on defense yesterday as the Raptors shot 52.4% from the floor and it did them in. Richard Hamilton was back in the starting line-up for the Pistons yesterday and he finished up with 15 points, 1 rebound and 4 assists despite only shooting 6 of 20 from the floor. Ben Gordon was also heaving bricks towards the rim as he shot 4 of 15 from the floor finishing with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Rodney Stuckey pitched in with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists yesterday. The Pistons are now 11-19 on the year.

Will Bynum is playing solid basketball for the Detroit Pistons

Will Bynum is really giving the Pistons a boost off the bench. Bynum has played in 26 games (0 starts) this season for the Pistons and he is averaging 27.8 minutes, 12.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. Bynum has really turned into a decent player and the Pistons need all the help they can get this season.

The Pistons only shot 27.9% from the floor tonight and it led to the ugly performance. Will Bynum led the way for the Pistons tonight with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Chris Wilcox had another decent game for the Pistons with 11 points and 6 rebounds in only 24 minutes on the court. Jason Maxiell only shot 4 of 12 from the floor tonight but he still finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Pistons are now 11-18 on the year.

The Pistons only shot 37.8% from the floor last night and it killed them on the scoreboard. Rodney Stuckey led the way for the Pistons last night with 20 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Will Bynum also had a decent game with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Chris Wilcox pitched in with 8 points and 5 rebounds in only 15 minutes off the bench. The Pistons are now 11-17 on the year.
