Chicago Bulls 97, Detroit Pistons 93

The Bulls outrebounded the Pistons 47-36 in this game and that was a huge factor in the Pistons loss. Rasheed Wallace led the way for the Pistons with 36 points and 9 rebounds. Richard Hamilton only shot 6 for 17 from the floor but he still finished up with 18 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. Chauncey Billups also had a decent game with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists. The Pistons are now 3-1 on the season.

Detroit Pistons 92, Atlanta Hawks 91

The Pistons rose to the challenge in the 4th quarter outscoring the Hawks 32-22 to win this game at the end. Chauncey Billups did a great job of running the show with 22 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots. Richard Hamilton also had a good game with 21 pionts, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Jason Maxiell provided the muscle off of the bench with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocked shots. The Pistons are now 3-0 on the season.

Detroit Pistons 116, Orlando Magic 92

The Pistons really took it to the Magic once again tonight winning the 9th game in a row against them. The Pistons shot 58.9% from the floor as a team and they also outrebounded the Magic 42-34 and those were two big keys in this victory. Flip Murray led the Pistons with 19 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists in only 28 minutes on the court. Chauncey Billups did a good job of running the offense with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Tayshaun Prince wasn’t as effective as he was in the season opener but he still scored 17 points and dished out 6 assists. Rasheed Wallace had a stat sheet stuffer with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocked shots. The Pistons are now 2-0 on the season with this win.

Detroit Pistons 91, Miami Heat 80

Tayshaun Prince had the best game of his NBA career in the season opener in Miami. Prince scored 34 points and snapped up 12 rebounds. Chauncey Billups did a good job of running the offense as he scored 19 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, dished out 11 assists and stole the ball twice. Rasheed Wallace filled up the stat sheet with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. The Pistons are now 1-0 on the season.
