Blogged under Bloglockers, Big Pistons News, Front Page by alleyoop on Thursday 19 April 2007 at 11:30 am

The Pistons have won the Central Division again with a 53-29 record and they have secured the #1 seed in the NBA Playoffs.  The Pistons were equally good at home (26-15) and on the road (27-14) this season.  The Pistons dominated the Eastern Conference with a 36-16 record against them and they were 9-7 against the Central Division which was only the third best record in the division behind the Bulls (12-4) and the Cavs (10-6).  The Pistons averaged 96.0 points per game and held their opponents to 91.8 points per game.  The Pistons have won 7 of their last 10 games, so they’re coming into the playoffs on a good roll.
