Chauncey Billups is mired in a shooting slump

Blogged under Bloglockers, Need to step up, Front Page by alleyoop on Sunday 11 March 2007 at 11:05 pm

The Pistons need Chauncey Billups to shake off his shooting slump if they are to maintain the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference as the Cleveland Cavaliers are making a move.  Billups has only shot 29.4% from the floor in his last six games.  Even with his poor shooting, Billups has averaged 14.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game over his last six.

Tayshaun Prince playing well of late

Blogged under Bloglockers, Steppin Up, Front Page by alleyoop on Sunday 11 March 2007 at 11:00 pm

Tayshaun Prince has played well over the last six games as he’s averaged 15.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists.  The Pistons might need Prince to score and rebound a little more soon as Rasheed Wallace and Chris Webber are getting up there in age.  Prince easily could be able to average 3-4 more points and 3-4 more rebounds a game if the Pistons need him to but Prince has been a team player so far in his career.
